Installing and Running PCNXU
Current version: 2.0.1
PCNXU is a PC implementation of the NXU-2 and allows a computer equipped with a sound card and Ethernet connection to communicate with an NXU-2. Audio may be sent and received, and the PTT line on the remote device may be controlled.
Instructions:
1. Download and install the latest Java Runtime Environment (JRE) 5.0. PCNXU will work with Java versions 1.4.2 and later, but the latest update of Java 5.0 is recommended. PCNXU does not support Java 6 at this time.
2. Download and install PCNXU by clicking here. Be sure to save it somewhere you can find it easily like on your Desktop.
3. An icon to start PCNXU will be created on your Desktop as well as in a program folder under your Start menu. There you will also find links to the PCNXU documentation.
To determine what version of PCNXU you have, go to the Help
menu and select About in PCNXU.
