CPM-4: Current Software Upgrade
This page contains instructions for updating the firmware in the CPM-4. The
link below contains a ZIP file containing the new firmware file, a CPM-4
firmware updating program, and these instructions.

Instructions for updating the CPM-4 firmware:
You must have a computer running Windows on the same network as the CPM-4 (same subnet).
1. Download the zip file and save it to a temporary subdirectory or floppy disk.
2. Unzip the files in the zip archive.
3. Run the AutoUpdate.exe program.
4. Enter the IP address of the CPM-4 to be updated.
5. In the FileName box enter cpm4_app.s19 or click browse and select the file cpm4_app.s19.
6. Check the box that says "Reboot when complete."
7. Click Update. The new firmware will be loaded into the selected CPM-4.
8. The CPM-4 will automatically restart and will be running the new firmware version.
9. Refer to the CPM-4 manual for new features. The new manual may be downloaded from this site.
10. If PSTN voice prompts are not operational after you upgrade your CPM-4 software you may need to reset the module to factory defaults as follows: From the HSP keypad enter *99, the voice prompts will say " ready " , (if the voice prompt says Invalid Entry, enter *37, then enter *99 again) then enter *9999, the ACU will reboot. The new code is now ready to use.
