DSP-2 IP Software Upgrade

This page contains instructions for updating the firmware in the DSP-2 IP. The link below references the ZIP file containing the new firmware and the firmware updating program.

Instructions for updating the DSP-2 IP firmware:
You must have a computer running Windows on the same network as the DSP-2 IP(same subnet).

1. Download the zip file (below) and save it to a temporary subdirectory or floppy disk.
2. Unzip the files in the zip archive (dsp2_update.zip).
3. Run the "AutoUpdate.exe" program.
4. Enter the IP address of the DSP-2 IP to be updated.
5. In the "FileName" box enter "dsp2_ver301_app.s19" or click browse and select the file "dsp2_ver301_app.s19" where "301" is the version indicator.
6. Check the box that says "Reboot when complete".
7. Click "Update". The new firmware will be loaded into the selected DSP-2 IP.
8. The DSP-2 IP will automatically restart and will be running the new firmware version.
9. Verify this by browsing to the DSP-2 IP : look for the "Firmware version" description.
10. Refer to the manual for any new features.
