The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has earmarked millions for First Responders.

JPS will help you complete your grant proposals.

Along with federal agencies such as FEMA and the Department of Justice, the DHS has appropriated millions of dollars to all First Responder organizations to bolster homeland security and disaster response efforts. Significant portions of this money are allocated specifically to purchase communications systems that solve interoperability problems.

Recent events have proven the importance of communications for First Responders like police, firefighters, highway patrols, state troopers, sheriffs, EMS, and other organizations and agencies whose job it is to protect American citizens. The need for effective, dependable interoperability is critical. Communications equipment, systems and training can be purchased with government funding with the goal of solving your interoperability problems.

To be awarded grant money for interoperability systems and equipment, you have to first complete and submit a grant proposal. JPS can make this sometimes difficult and tedious process easier. We can also increase your chances of success. Our experts are on hand to help you. All you have to do is contact us and we can get you started. We'll guide you through the grant proposal process. We will discuss your department's needs, help find answers to your grant proposal questions, and talk you through the process of determining an interoperability system configuration, if appropriate.

Grant applications and deadline information are accessible from Homeland Security and FEMA websites. Applicants seeking funding for communications equipment will need to provide details in the narrative section of their application regarding their local plan to enable interoperability for their jurisdiction. JPS can help you do this.
