NXU2_05_02 issued August 18, 2005
Some NXU-2 failures have been traced to a single run of NXU-2 Connector Boards. A fabrication flaw in the raw boards may in some cases cause intermittent operation, most commonly identified by a failure of the unit to link.
NXU2_05_01 issued August 18, 2005
A small number of NXU-2 units have been found to be manufactured with an incorrect part. This part is U1 on the NXU-2 DSP Board. You have been contacted because the serial number/s of your unit/s indicate this part could be installed.
ACU1000_05_01 issued April 13, 2005
This FSB provides information on the steps required to flash the latest code for DSP-2/CPM-4 modules. Major improvements have been incorporated in the code to add features and enable full capabilities of the DSP-2/CPM-4 modules. These upgrades are required for all boards in the field.
SNV12-04-01 issued May 4, 2004 This Field Service Bulletin is written to describe how to upgrade and change the SNV-12 CPM Module EPROM, U4.
SNV12-03-01 issued February 5, 2003 This FSB is written concerning the SVM-1 Site Voter Module for the SNV-12, which is being replaced with the SVM-2 due to obsolescence and lack of upgradability.
SNV12-02-02 issued January 20, 2003 This FSB addresses the issue concerning some new software and old hardware combinations in which the Voted Audio may be muted if more than five SVM modules are installed in the chassis. Voted audio is muted in the CIM speaker, the rear panel voted audio output port and is not repeated back out the SVM Modules when the unit is in the repeat mode.
NXU2-02-02 issued April 9, 2002 This Field Service Bulletin discusses the NXU-2 firmware version upgrade from 2.00 to 2.03. The upgrade provides improved operation with the PPPoE protocol, increased link reliability on busy networks and enhacements to TCP/IP network functionality.
NXU2-02-01 issued April 4, 2002 This Field Service Bulletin is written to alert the customers to a change in the NXU-2 manual. There has been additional information added to the manual related to the use of Hyperterminal, the modem control program, which may be used to program the NXU-2 via the serial port
SNV12-02-01 issued February 11, 2002 This FSB is written to alert customers to a correction required in the SNV-12 manual, Manual Part Number 5951-800200, revision 5.5.
F9800-01-01 When using CPU boards, which do not have the "Master Reset" ECO, the Master Reset circuitry can sometimes malfunction causing the F-9800 tuning elements to be incorrectly set.
ACU1000-01-02 issued October 2, 2001 This FSB is designed to assist in the implementation of a new revision of DSP firmware to allow the addition of the Transmit Audio Delay and EIA Tone Keying capability. The audio delay can assist in the implementation of trunking systems attached to the ACU-1000. The EIA Tone Keying can allow transmitters to be keyed via the transmit audio bus with a series of tones.
ACU1000-01-01 issued August 7, 2001 This FSB is written to assist in the implementation of a new revision of CPM firmware to allow operation of the new ACU Controller Software.
